About Pınar
I have obtained my BSc degree in Chemistry at IZTECH (Izmir Institute of Technology) in Turkey. Then, to gain expertise in computational biology and structural biology, I have started to Biostatistics and Bioinformatics MSc. program at Acibadem University in Istanbul. After graduation from this program, I did an ERASMUS master’s internship which is mainly based on identifying structural differences between a wild-type cytidine deaminase and a mutant that prevents dimerization by running molecular dynamics simulations and analyzing with statistical tools at Toulouse Cancer Research Center (CRCT) in France.
Besides science, I like bushwalking and riding a bike outside of the city. Also, I try to spare time for visiting new places and taking photos around these places.
My favorite food is anything made by artichoke (pasta, salad, dolma(one of the Turkish/Greek traditional food), etc). Also, I love any kind of dessert.
