I am a biologist with a master degree in neuroscience. I was introduced to computer science during my bachelor’s project, and after that I decided to keep my interest in genomics and transcriptomics. After the master I worked in Sweden at the Biomedical Centre in Lund for one year and half as data analyst. The lab’s aim was to investigate the role of microglia in the neurodegenerative process, although, being a lab focused on in vitro and in vivo experiments, I preferred to move to a fully in silico lab.

Currently my project is on writing programs to analyse functional MRI images and proteogenomic data, with the idea to merge in the future these two kind of data and give researchers a new tool to investigate brain activity.
